In Australia the whole Queensland area has amazing scenery and wonderful lush green plant material. Specifically the Tropical North Queensland area gives whoever visits there the adventures of moving around nature and relaxing while exploring the amazing out of doors. Everyone will have a different experience as they observe all of this beauty and the history of this area, a wonderful break especially for those from big cities who work in a very busy place. If you have a picture of a tropical paradise in your head this area of TNQ will bring you that experience, observing nature as no where else. Being a truly natural setting with all types of wilderness it's essential to be prepared to move around with the correct tools as you don't want to put yourself in a dangerous situation. Although there are many beautiful things to observe there are also limited paving on the roads, so you must be aware that there are limitations as you move around in the beauty.
In this region there are beautiful, full service accommodations for you to kick back and relax, giving you the illusion of you being within a full service type region. But to get to these you must traverse the rainforest which may be quite an experience for those who havn't done it. It is very important to be prepared to move around this rugged land, have a first aid kit, along with a compass, current maps, additional water and a cell phone with sim card to make a call if you get lost, have an injury or mechanical breakdown. Traveling the TNQ with safey first in your mind will take some preparation on your part. You have to verify your maps with the locals as they will know the best route to get you there, also don't travel after dark, only during the day. There are often closed roads in the area which only a local will know, a map or GPS won't be able to provide you with that information.
